El Rototom Sunsplash es el mayor festival reggae europeo (y talvéz del mundo), en su edición 2012 fue celebrado en Benicàssim, situado junto al mediterráneo, pocos kilómetros al norte de la ciudad de Castellón en España.
El festival, que acoge a los artistas más importantes del género sobre su escenario, también propone muchas actividades culturales: el Rototom Sunsplash da visibilidad y voz a temáticas como el Rastafarismo, el antiprohibicionismo, la pena de muerte, el racismo, la no-violencia, etc.
